Line Painting Starting on June 8th

The lines at Fitchburg Airport will be painted over the next few weeks. This includes the compass rose, the taxiway lines, and the “Fitchburg”. The Fitchburg will even be solid now. I bet its going to look great! I believe this is a MassDOT funded project.

The work starts on June 8th. Please use caution when taxiing around, there may be workers on the taxiways completing the work. During some brief periods, some taxiways will be closed to allow the work to be done and the paint to dry. I assume no one wants yellow paint on their airplane. :) Since there are no parts of the airport that you can’t get to by more than one way, you should always be able to taxi to the place you want to go.
